Dos Oakes

Had a great weekend with my family. Not only was Dos Oakes beautiful it comfortably housed my entire family of 15. We are excited to come back. The location was great and the scenery was worthy of a Kodak moment. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by the nice lady at the management office.

My only gripe, and I am really nitpicking, is that I couldn’t bring my dog. It’s perfectly reasonable as dogs can be destructive and messy. However I’d be happy to pay more on my deposit to have been able to bring my small 20 lb dog with strict rules (pick up all poop, vacuum, etc).

We have stayed at Dos Oakes for several years now and we always have a great time. We love this place

It was a time for our family. All six of my kids were there some parts of that week. We visited this house last year except my wife was still alive. We did mostly the same thing as last year play cards, put a puzzle together and the kids swam most every day. We hardly ever leave the place once we arrive. We have been going to the Frio River for over 60 years and the river used to be our high light of our family vacation but age has made it where access to the river is impossibly. But now it is a time to visit, relax, and talk about times in the past.

The pictures to this rental are cute, but they do not compare to the actual house. The whole place is relaxing and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Everything was so clean and organized. Each room has specific instructions to the television and how to use each remote. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you might need to use. Easy pool access, outside restroom and shower are super convenient. First time here but definitely not the last. The whole family enjoyed it.

Our first trip to the river was nothing but amazing! To the booking to the staff to property management all were so helpful and professional. The house alone was stunning and very well maintained as well as the perfect location. Everything you go for the River for is within a fifteen minute drive. The location has privacy and it’s so relaxing. We will definitely be staying here in the future! If your looking for the perfect location for you and your family, this place will not disappoint!!

It was an amazing property to stay at. Everything was clean and organized. The only downfall was they did not pick up the trash at all while we were there. I also had issues contacting the office for my deposit refund. It's been about 3 weeks since we checked out.

This place was perfect for our retreat! Tons of room, great kitchen, super clean. We will return. Also Frio Premier is such a wonderful company. They communicated clearly and quickly. No problems!

We truly enjoyed this home, it is beautiful and the set up is perfect for what we needed and wanted. Very Clean, and although it was too cold to swim the pool looked amazing. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. Would recommend this home and will stay again.

Dos Oakes was by far one of the best places for our family vacation. The location, the house, the amenities, and the support from the staff was outstanding!!! Our family enjoyed our time there, especially our private pool time.

We loved every minute of our stay. There was plenty of room for our rather large group, 25 mostly adults. The house was lovely and spacious. The casita was perfect for kids to hangout when they were tired from swimming. Kitchen was fully stocked. Honestly the only complaint I had was the dustpan, it was a tiny bit warped and hard to sweep all the dirt into. Lol We will definitely be booking with Frio Premier again!

The house was perfect size. Perfect for our four families and with plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and dining area where awesome. Only 10min from Garner State Park. Overall a great stay and will definitely be coming back!

This our second time at Dos Oakes, and there are not enough great things we can say about it. It is absolutely perfect. In a time when our faces our glued to small screens, we all forgot about our phones and just appreciated each other and every moment. Just Perfect!

Great venue for 5 families (10 adults and 6 kids (8-13)...The pool, outdoor kitchen and smoker were awesome - only 10 mins by car to Neals and Frio Country Store. Having access to River Rim was a bonus!!! Highly recommend

Our family had the best time this year. The house was perfect for us. Kids bunked separate from the adults and they loved it. The front courtyard is perfect with the pool and lounge chairs all around. We can’t wait to do it again!

This is our second time vacationing at Dos Oakes and we absolutely love it. It has all the accommodations we needed for all our family members. The pool setting right in the middle is beautiful and the three refrigerators is a big plus! We will definitely be back again!

We enjoyed our days and nights at Dos Oakes! The house offered spacious family rooms, well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer and comfortable bedrooms. Separate sleeping areas offers privacy for each family. We loved the private pool in the afternoons and enjoyed the fire pit and grill nightly! Local attractions were a short drive away! Loved Dos Oakes!

We really like Dos Oakes. In fact it's our second time staying there, and we'll stay there again. The location is off the beaten path of river road but close enough to be in the water quickly and it's quiet and peaceful, unless you're there with the 7 grandkids we had with us.

We had a great time at the property. The river was a little low but having the pool made up for it. The kids had a great time and we had everything we needed. Stores were close by as well to get any extras that we forgot. Definitely going again next year.

Spent 5 nights at Dos Oakes with my family of 21! We had a great time and Dos Oakes was the perfect set up for all of our people. Multiple separate rooms so people can have some privacy. Really works well with central loacation of pool.

This home is gorgeous! There was plenty of room for our entire family. There was plenty of privacy. The pool was perfect for the young grandchildren. I was concerned about having enough dishes or cooking supplies. The kitchen was stocked with all the supplies we needed. There was room around the pool to play corn hole. There were plenty of seating for all inside and outside. The 3 refrigerators were perfect to hold all of our food. The beautiful oak trees on the side of the house made for some memorial family pictures. The manager was very accommodating when we talked on the phone. We can't wait to go back!

The place was well-kept and in a quiet setting for our retreat. Nice space for getting away, and located close to a main road for the time that we did need to leave for an event. The company reps were most accommodating.
